PAPERWORK REQUIRED


 

Before November 1st of each year.
A new team should have the NEW TEAM FORM sent
into the New Hampshire Chairman or Junior Legion Director
for acceptance or denial for the following season.

January 1 to First Sunday in March
Register on line at: http://www.baseball.legion.org
Call your opponents to create your season schedule.
Have your district game schedule done by March meeting.

After your team has been approved by our Chairman:
Pay your fees and buy your insurance by May 15th.

You're on line Form 1 must be filled out by your first district game or June 25th, which ever comes first.
Your team picture should be taken and uploaded as soon as possible once your complete team has been formed.
REMEMBER, once your Form 1 (Roster) has been filled out and submitted online and it is approved and
forwarded by your district chairman or director, it cannot be changed. It becomes an official document once it
is forwarded to the National Legion office.

Before you play your first district game, your paperwork
that you send to your district Chairman shall include:

Seniors:

Copy of your complete schedule (district and non-district games)
A copy of each player's Form 2*
For new players:
An original birth certificate
A copy of the Form 77 - Team Declaration Form
If you have a waived (transfer player)
A copy of the Form 76 - Player Transfer Form

Juniors:

Copy of your complete schedule (district and non-district games)
A copy of each player's Form 2*
For new players:
An original birth certificate
If you have a waived (transfer player)
A copy of the Form 76 - Player Transfer Form

* If a player is a dual rostered player, a Form 2 must be submitted to both the junior and senior team. Each Form 2 shall note that a player is dual rostered.
If a new player is dual rostered, original birth certificate shall go to the senior team.

Before your season starts:
Make sure you have two legion registered umpires assigned for each district game. A team can either hire their own umpires using the list
from our website or they can allow an "umpire assigner" (if they know one) to assign their games for them. The suggested fees for our umpires are:
For senior games, a suggested minimum fee of $80.00 for a nine (9)-inning game is to be paid to each umpire.
For junior games, a suggested minimum fee of $70.00 for a seven (7)-inning game is to be paid to each umpire.

Once the season has started:
A person shall be selected from each Post (team) to email or call in their game results.
It seems that in the past it was assumed that it would be the home team no matter if they won or lost.
I think it makes more sense for the winning team to call or email the result.

When reporting your results, please use your GAME #, team names and score.
The game number is very important when we have rainouts. It makes it much
easier to find the game when they are made up to post score on our website.
